Silver for Hasler/Pasternack in Altenberg
2-woman bobsleigh Olympic Champion Laura Nolte is the 2023 European Champion. At the BMW IBSF World Cup in Altenberg (GER), at the same time counted as European Championships for the European athletes, Nolte won the title in 2-woman bobsleigh with push athlete Neele Schuten. Silver went to Melanie Hasler/Nadja Pasternack (SUI). For the Swiss it was the first European Championship medal just before the start of the BMW IBSF World Championships on their home track in St. Moritz (SUI). Bronze was won by defending champion Kim Kalicki with Anabel Galander (GER).
