Hasler with a track record - but without a medal

Melanie Hasler and brakewoman Nadja Pasternack showed a good performance on the 2nd day of the two-man bobsleigh World Championships with two 4th places. The possible medal was awarded by the team due to a "failed" first run. In the second round they proved with a new track record that they had potential for a podium finish. However, they could not make up for the time lag on the medal places after the first day. In the end, the Swiss women were 0.92 seconds behind the podium. Nevertheless, the still young women's team can be proud of the achievement.
